PREP SURFACES FOR PAINTING

PRESSURE WASHING
Once everything is adequately protected, the exterior surface of your home will be pressure washed with a solution made of water, bleach and tri-sodium. With this solution we will kill and remove mildew and mildew spores. Mold and mildew are living organisms and if present, must be removed prior to painting. Painting over mildew will lead to early paint cracking and peeling of the exterior painting finish. Nail pops will be nailed back in, rusted nails treated, and nails holes caulked to create an even and smooth surface on which the coat(s) of premium paint will be applied.
APPLYING PAINTING
Once all rotten/decayed wood has been repaired, peeling paint removed, cracks and holes filled, High Style Painting will apply a quality, high rated exterior caulk around doors, windows, between decks and exterior walls, around chimneys and other areas around the exterior of your home. All open cracks and joints will caulked with a silicon acrylic caulk.
Finally, We will apply the recommended premium grade paint in the color you selected.
FINAL WALKTHROUGH
Once your exterior painting project is completed and a proper inspection to your project has been conducted, a final walk through will be led with you to make sure the work was done to your satisfaction. If you identify areas that need to be touched up, High Style Painting will take care of it right away. Once you have approved the work, We will proceed to clean up the areas where the exterior painting project took place. We will leave with you samples of the paint used for your exterior painting project in case you have to do some light touch ups in the future. Our exterior painting services come with a warranty.
